zero to hero!

jo and i have been married for 6 and half years; the first two were spent enjoying our new life together, restoring an old house, taking exotic holidays to far-flung locations and 'that sort of thing'. not once did we even talk about children, although i had always known it was a burning ambition for jo. i had had a difficult childhood and was concerned that i may repeat the mistakes made by my own parents, so for that reason i had publicly decided not to have children - then why did you marry a women who wanted children, i hear you scream - because privately i suspected that i really did want children.

my name is grant and i am 36 years old. i have lived in cardiff, wales, uk all my life, although have travelled extensively both for business and pleasure. my wife, jo and i have been married for six and a half years and have been 'a couple' for 14 years.

hi, i started this blog in october 2008, to blog about the first two years in my babies lives. my name is grant and my wife and i are expecting our first children towards the end of october. i expect the next two years to be the most challenging, but exciting and rewarding of my life so far. i plan to blog most of the activities over the period, from the mundane to the marvellous!
